AGE REQUIREMENT:Minimum age for Groups A, B, C, E, H & J is 21 years; for all other groups is 25 years.
DRIVING LICENSE: A valid driving license held for at least one (1) year is required from the driver.
YOUNG DRIVER CHARGE: For groups A, B, C, E, H & J drivers under 25 years of age are imposed to a charge of €4/day (with a maximum charge of 3 days).
PAYMENT METHOD: The driver must hold a valid credit or debit card accepted by Thrifty for all necessary pre-authorization amounts as well as pre-payments and settlement of final rental charges.
GRACE PERIOD: At the end of the agreed rental period, Supplier allows a grace period of 29 minutes free of charge after which the customer will be charged with a minimum of one full day rental.
CANCELLATION / NON-SHOW FEE: In case a customer failed either to show up or to cancel at last 24 hours prior to pick up, to charge client for a Late Cancelation / Non Show Fee equal to 1 Days charge or €30, whichever is higher. A Non Show is effective if the customer hasn’t collected the vehicle within one (1) hour of the booked time/date, unless there is a travel delay (given that a flight number and/or travel details have been provided prior to the car pick up).
EARLY RETURN / EXTENSION OF RENTAL: No refund for any unused voucher value/rental days. Ongoing rental extension should be arranged with Thrifty Ukraine at least 48 hours before the intended/reserved rental expiry, to be charged as per valid retail tariff.
TRAFFIC FINES: All fines resulting from the drivers conduct are born solely by the renter. If not, Thrifty will pay them and will charge the customer with the full amount of traffic fine plus the Incident Administration Fee, 25€ per case, in order to cover all administration expenses.
LIABILITY OF THE RENTER: In case of damage or loss of the rented car or part of it, as well as in case of fire, breakage of glass or theft, the Renter or any additional authorized drivers are fully liable.
THIRD PARTY LIABILITY (TPL): Covers the rented vehicle for claims from property damage and third party personal injury or death to the amounts specified by Ukrainian Law.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW / SCDW): "The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle can be reduced, as per Rental Agreement's term and conditions, to minimum charge of 700€ for Groups A, B, H; 850€ for Groups C, E, J, I, I; 950€ for Groups S, T; 1,300€ for Group Y, by paying daily €10 for groups A, B, H, €13 for groups C, E, J, I, €19 for groups S, T and €26 for group Y.
The renter may further reduce the liability to a minimum charge of 150€ for Groups A, B, H; 200€ for Groups C, E, J, I; 300€ for Groups S, T; 400€ for Groups Y, by paying an additional fee of €6 for groups A, B, H, €8 for groups C, E, J, I, €12 for groups S, T and €26 for group Y.
Damage to the underside of the car, the wheels & tyres or loss of the vehicle's keys/car documents are not covered.
THEFT PROTECTION (TP): Theft protection is a service which, if accepted, reduces the renters financial responsibility in case of theft of the Thrifty vehicle to 700€ for groups A,В, H, 800€ for groups C, E, J, I, 950€ for groups S, T and 1300€ for groups Y by accepting a charge of 5€, 7€, 10€, and 13€ respectively per rental day. This excludes any thefts of personal effects.
SUPER COVER (SC): Τhe renter can be covered (with zero excess) in case of total theft or damage to the Thrifty vehicle for a daily charge of €3 for groups A, B, H, €4 for groups C, E, J, I, €5 for groups S, T and €6 for group Y, provided that the renter has previously accepted the relevant coverage charges for CDW, SCDW, and TP, or has a reservation inclusive of these coverages. Damage to the underside of the car, the wheels & tyres, broken car glass or loss of the vehicle keys are not covered.
AIRPORT SERVICE CHARGE (ASC): The charge applicable to all airports in Ukraine is 10%. The above percentage is calculated on the sum of charges excluding taxes and fuel charges. ASC cannot be less of 10€ charge.
FUEL POLICY: For rental durations of 1-2 days, the customer should return the car with the same quantity of fuel as shown at the time of pickup. In the event that the customer returns it with less quantity, the customer will be charged the value of the missing fuel. Additionally, a Refueling Service Charge will be applied, which today is €20.
For rental durations of three (3) days or more, the customer is required to prepay the cost of the quantity of fuel which is in the tank of the rented car at the pickup time. Upon returning the car –and only at this time– the customer may ask to be refunded with the value of the fuel in the tank at that time. In this instance, if the quantity of fuel in the tank is less than the one the customer has prepaid, then the Refuelling Service Charge will be applied, which today is €20. Any refund due will be processed through customer's credit/debit card.
The price per litre of fuel used is the average fuel price for the area where the car was rented. The Refueling Service Charge is €20, while Thrifty reserves the right to change it in the future without prior notice. Any fuel refunds, disputes etc. must be resolved with Thrifty staff at the time of the vehicle’s return. Thrifty will not consider any disputes once the final invoice has been issued. A fuel policy leaflet is available on all Thrifty Desks in five languages.

ONE WAY RENTALS: Applicable between Thrifty locations following a written authorization and a special charge agreement with Thrifty.
FLEET AVAILABILITY: The Company reserves the right to provide a different car model to that originally reserved of an equivalent or higher model type.
TAXES: All rates and charges of this brochure are subjected to 20% VAT.

WINDSCREEN PROTECTION (WSP): The renters liability for damage on the windscreen of the car can be reduced, as per Rental Agreement's Terms & Conditions, by accepting a payment of €3/day.
REFUELLING SERVICE CHARGE: €18.
